Endorsement from LA Chamber of Commerce's PAC Highlights Greuel’s Wide Ranging Support
LOS ANGELES, CA – Underscoring the broad coalition supporting her campaign, today Wendy Greuel won the endorsement of the L.A. JOBS PAC, sponsored by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
Recognized as the leading voice for business in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce represents the interests of business in L.A. County and aims to promote a prosperous economy and quality of life issues in the Los Angeles region.
Today's endorsement follows Greuel’s recent endorsement from the prominent San Fernando Valley business group, the Valley Industry & Commerce Association (VICA) PAC and the Los Angeles Daily News.
“Wendy has a long record of working with the Chamber to champion job creation and build a stronger economy in Los Angeles. She brings a unique combination of political leadership and knowing what it takes to run a successful family-owned business,” said L.A. Area Chamber President & CEO Gary Toebben. “The L.A. JOBS PAC believes that she will be a true partner on critical issues such as job creation, reforming the city’s business tax, making the tough decisions on pension reform, improving infrastructure and ending homelessness.”
“This endorsement reflects the wide-ranging support that my campaign has built throughout Los Angeles,” said Greuel. “It’s also a testament to my real-world business background and the fact that business leaders and groups understand that revitalizing our economy and creating jobs will be one of my top priorities. I am grateful for this endorsement from L.A. JOBS PAC and look forward to continuing to work to strengthen our economy and grow our middle class.”
Over the course of the last week, Greuel has received a major momentum surge following several new and potent endorsements, including an announcement just yesterday that former Los Angeles Police Chief Bill Bratton endorsed Greuel’s public safety goals.
Significantly, Greuel has recently secured endorsements from the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS), the National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC) of Los Angeles County, the San Fernando Valley Young Democrats (SFVYD), and the Law Enforcement Association of Asian Pacifics (LEAAP). The Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL) and the United Firefighters of Los Angeles City (UFLAC) Local 112 have also endorsed Greuel.
